Further Update: Continued fantastic experience, incredible storage facilities all around. Rent is going up but that's everywhere. Dan is, as they say, the MAN! He was very responsive in handling a billing situation. Staff continue to be exemplary.

I’ve leased my unit for 2 months now, and the customer service is consistently top notch. Heather, Patty, Dan and Peter have all gone out of their way to help with just about anything! A few of them were aware of some back problems I was dealing with, and were so compassionate in offering to lift or carry things for me. And YES, the complimentary snacks and refreshments are a great touch. Also, they’re not cheap lame snacks… they even offer fresh brew coffee…. the key to my ♥️. The place is always spotless. But I think one of the best things about this storage facility is the use of green/renewable energy. They have a massive solar system, the WiFi never lags and I’ve yet to see a light dim. They also have back up genny’s so all the great touchless features are 100 p reliable. Even the cute little robot lawn mower is doing its part for the climate! Highly recommend.👍🏻👍🏻

One of the best perks is that they offer a FREE move-in truck, which took so much stress off my move and saved me the hassle and expense of trying to find or rent one myself. That alone made the process so much easier. From the moment I walked in, Heather was absolutely wonderful, so kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. She even made me the best cup of coffee ever while helping me get set up! And meeting her super sweet pup Frasier was the cherry on top. If you're looking for storage in New Milford, I highly recommend Distinct Storage. Excellent customer service, top-notch security, and an all-around great experience!

Great facility.” My review TODAY when I moved out of my storage room: What a great year! Distinct Storage — and Dan, Patty, Peter, and, on one occasion, Paul (the owner) — treated me and my belongings with great care and kindness. The facility couldn’t be cleaner, the Wi-Fi was always free and available, security and ease of access high end, and amenities like beverages and snacks made our moments of pause after loading, unloading, or reorganizing the room especially welcome. Their courtesy at every point along the way was unparalleled. This was a 100% positive experience in a world where the need for extra storage space is growing, and I honestly haven’t heard of anyone else having such a comparable experience. Apparently others agree, because I understand they’re opening another, larger storage facility down the road — with more rooms and spaces for boats, RVs, and perhaps other family “toys.”

From being kind and understanding of the stress smy family and I were under. To lending a helping hand. I wish they had a facility where I am now because I dont think I'll be able to find a facility as good as the one they have built. My standards for storage facilities has sky rocketed thanks to them. I refuse to accept less then what I was provided by Dan and the team at distinct. So again I wish to say thank you for absolutely everything.
